The Grove Sports and Leisure Club in Nailsea are fortunate enough to have access to the following facilities:
FOOTBALL AND CRICKET
During the summer season, we have two full-size county standard cricket pitches including practice nets used by Nailsea Cricket Club. These are converted to two full-size and three junior football pitches over the winter season. This is complimented with an all-year enclosed football pitch complete with changing and shower facilities, dugouts and ample spectator areas for our home team, Nailsea United Football Club.
Nailsea UNITED football club - Nailsea United Football Club was established in 1897, and have called The Grove their home since 1946. They have several teams, from a first team to a veterans team; and since 2006 have had a ladies team which has advanced rapidly through the leagues. Off the field, the club has a vibrant social scene, and despite its considerable size, is a friendly, unified and welcoming club that values the importance of fun as well as performance for all of its players and members, regardless of ability, age or gender. http://nailseaunited.co.uk/

Nailsea junior football club
TABLE TENNIS
Nailsea Table Tennis Club. Based at the Grove, Nailsea Table Tennis offer table tennis facilities and coaching for competition or leisure. The club has around 50 members, and is one of the biggest clubs in the Bristol area.
Matches are played Monday through to Friday, club social and training nights are Monday and Tuesday. Coaching takes place for junior members on Saturday mornings with an ETTA accredited professional coach. The coaching team are all CRB checked and fully insured.
SKITTLES
We have two league standard skittle alleys and are the home venue for many league teams. Badminton and Sports Hall
Our badminton hall is available to hire at weekends but is also a flexible space which can be used for other activities such as table tennis, Irish dancing and boot camp activities. Come along and have a look.
Darts Boards
We can accommodate up to four league teams and have regularly hosted charity darts events with well- known former faces from the Professional Darts Corporation.
Pool Tables
We are one of the few pubs or clubs in Nailsea to have a county standard pool table available for a small charge to all our members.
